Murcia, Photographic competition "Litoral y Puertos"

I have actually submitted three photographs to the region of Murcia photographic competition - subject "Coasts and Ports of Murcia". My expectations are very low but I am pleased that I submitted as a foreigner or "guiri".
I will post them in a week or so after judging is over.

Going really public...

My weekly painting group with Mary Eames is showing work done with her over the last year in less than three weeks time. When one signs up for these things little do you realise the hundred little jobs involved in even a parochial expo..... Guess doubled when working in more than one language. The show is in a beautiful gallery belonging to Cajamurcia bank in Puerto Lumbreras
So finished this week for hanging .........

A visit to the motherland in Summer

The shock to the system between a very cool and grey 17deg C in Southern England and lots of showers and 40degC in Murcia certainly has an impact on one's creative juices. One week's efforts as follows then - Dorset heath has a great ape rescue centre which I had never visited before. Despite the grey and the rain I loved it - and hated it.

"Grooming"

I live in Spain but many of these lovely interesting apes had been spanish photographer props on the costas. Hopefully there arent any photographers practising this behaviour any more - and if they are you should report them.
"Orang-utan in a british rainforest!"

"Shades of grey " Poole beach on a Saturday in July
